WALKING FOR HEALTH and LONGEVITY

Okay, I am now 62 years OLD! EEEKS!!...what am I doing to myself? I am now retired & allowing myself to age rapidly!!! Don't get me wrong..."I love retirement", but I feel like I have become a "chair" potato & find myself playing on my laptop most of the day while the dust grows thicker & my hips grow larger! I received this wonderful site from a fellow Nutrimirror pal who shared it with us & now I am sharing it with you. Check it out. You will love it! (By the way, Nutrimirror is a WONDERFUL, Healthy sit for anyone who is trying to lose weight or for those who just want to eat right & keep track of all their nutrients. It is a free website & all you do is sign-up. I Love it!) Anyway, back to what I was talking about before....After I watched it, both my husband & I took a 2 mile walk & felt so much better afterword. We have pledged to STOP being lazy & to start caring about our health. It is easy to do; it just takes getting my big rump off the chair (or couch).

It has been a while since I posted this blog & since then I have joined a gym & aqua exercise classes. I love it! There are about 10 to 15 other women in the class & we have such a great time. I admit there is a lot of laughing & talking & sometimes less concentration on the exercise program....but, we all try. I have also met a few new friends which help motivate me. There is also a "Baby Boomer" aerobics class which I thought I would last through it, but I DID & it was also so wonderful. I am now on a roll to firm up as well as get back into shape.  (oh...I forgot to tell you....my husband joined the gym too!)
